Minu kõige lemmikum blog, ehk ma olen sellega ise vaeva näinud ja seda ise uuendanud.

Panamera GTS

Few days ago we were announcing the debut of the new Panamera GTS at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
And back then, we taught that the GTS will be launched to fill the gap between the Panamera S and the turbocharged version of the German luxury sports saloon.
But now, after the GTS made it’s own way to the wide public, Porsche announced that the newcomer of the Panamera family is also the sportiest member of it, and not the Turbo as we all expected.
According to the German Company’s officials, the GTS “is capable of cutting it on the circuit without sacrificing practicality”.
And to give us an extra idea of what they are talking about, Porsche also released a video of four test-driving burning some rubber on a racing track with the PDK, all-wheel-drive, 430 horsepower monster.
We have the video for you below, enjoy it!

Porsche Panamera S HellBoy

The engineers from Edo Competition have taken the Porsche Panamera S to the gym and made it more powerful. The standard version produces 400 hp (294 kW) and now with this power boost it is capable of delivering 465 hp (342 kW).
They managed to increase the output of the engine by installing a self-adjusting, pressure-monitoring, header-back stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valves. In addition, it packs catalytic converters, new high-flow mufflers and air filters, along with a remapped ECU.
The “Hellboy” features a carbon fiber front skirt, along with a lip that incorporates daytime running lights. Also new are the side skirts and the rear apron which now has a diffuser and fender vents. The new suspension brings the car closer to the roads by 30 mm while the massive 21-inch alloys give it a more masculine look.

New Porsche 911 Cabriolet

Just a few months distance from the official launch of the 911 Carrera Coupe at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show this year, Porsche released today the open-top version of the almost historical sports cars series.

To keep a doze of history in the new car’s design, the German car maker opted for a soft top folding roof in detriment of the hard top present on some of direct 911′s competitors.

But don’t think that the system does not brings anything new because you would be wrong. The new structure is made of composite materials integrated on a brand-new magnesium frame, all this in the manner of weight loss.

The same new platform with longer wheelbase and the same engine range will be used on both Coupe and Cabriolet versions of the 911.

The car is expected to enter the German market on the next spring, having the starting prices from €100,532 (US$136,040) for the Carrera and €114,931 (US$155,515) for the Carrera S, all prices including taxes.

As for the US market, the entry date is almost the same as the one in the mother country, and the prices are expected to be somewhere around $97,300 for the 911 Carrera Cabriolet and $108,000 for the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet.

In the UK, the 911 Carrera Cabriolet is priced from £79,947, and the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet from £89,740
